Scope of the Symposium

The International Symposium on Pharmaceutical Engineering Research addresses current topics at the interface of chemical and biochemical engineering, pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, micro and process technology. It intends to provide a platform for lively discussions and exchange between these disciplines.

Call for Papers – Key Topics

The Symposium invites presentations especially to three focal topics on

  • Production processes for biopharmaceuticals and chemical API
  • Advanced design and processing of solid and liquid formulations
  • Microsystems for continuous processing and screening

Additionally, all contributions with relevance to pharmaceutical engineering and the scope of the symposium are invited. Industrial contributions are specifically encouraged.

Contribution*
If you intend to contribute with a presentation or poster please send an eMail with the files attached at abstracts@pvz-sphere.de.

Submission format
Abstracts should be prepared using the two-page format given here and must not exceed four pages.

Presentation formats
Applications for oral and poster presentations are invited. Oral presentations will be 15 + 5 min. For posters, 3 min introductory presentations are scheduled. The posters should be printed in size A0.

*Please be aware that the abstract of all accepted contributions will be published in the conference electronic proceedings accessible via the SPhERe website.
